We photographed our cover in the late afternoon, the colors of the green and amber grass, the red barn and blue sky were so inviting. I imagined if I could only spend my day relaxing like this - my life would be fulfilled. Vermont at its best! Yves Delorme ~ Palais Royal is featured on our cover this month showcasing beautiful bedding and pillow accessories. Our model is wearing lounge wear by Natori and Michael Rodriguez was on location as hair stylist.

Shopping in Manchester is a unique experience as it offers a blend of specialty boutiques and premium stores along with famous brand outlet stores. There aren't many towns that offer the diversity and quality of shopping in one of the most picturesque communities in the northeast. Not to mention all of the amenities we have!

Lately, I've received a lot of inquires regarding home furnishings and accessories. Our Q&A section is full of great recommendations

RETAIL NEWS-

Congratulations to Nick Monte of The Village Peddler in East Arlington who won "Best Easter Idea" at the annual Retail Confectioners International trade show held in Boston. His winning entry, a bunny named Patches, is made of white, milk, and dark chocolate on the outside with a thin layer of peanut butter inside. Stop by and treat yourself to some of Nick's delicious chocolates. Patches sounds pretty tasty too.

r.k. Miles has opened a new store in the Depot Station area, Mary's Kitchen. It has everything you need for your kitchen and some surprises too.

Our Neighboring Towns section has increased in this issue and when you read through the pages you'll be impressed with the many wonderful unique artisans we have nestled in our hills. There's wood craftsmen such as William Laberge and Dan Mosheim creating beautiful pieces of furniture. Each one has distinctly different styles. At Brooke Grove Custom Lighting you'll find breathtaking lighting fixtures. Drew Ann Dunigan has recently opened a jewelry studio at 41 Church Street, Dorset (next to Peltier's) and features her signature collection is defined as hand-crafted modern 18K gold and sterling silver. See pages 17-19. (continued next page)
