The magic - and the rush - of the holiday season is suddenly upon us. As we prepare to celebrate this special time of year with family and friends, we're busy shopping for gifts, hosting special dinners and attending a party or two. It always seems there's so much to do in such a short time, and this year's brief span between Thanksgiving and Christmas will surely test our mettle. If this seems difficult, we won't complain... Hanukkah came the day after Thanksgiving! Mother Nature has blanketed our mountains a few times in the past month and has set the stage for the holiday season. The ski resorts are starting their snow guns! It's time to plan your ski vacation!
I believe December has always been a most introspective month. As we set the stage for the holidays, it also turns the corner for the upcoming New Year. A year ago our armed forces and loved ones were fighting a war half way around the world and we're still dealing with the same conflict and prayers. Let's all take a moment of reflection and send our thoughts and prayers to families who can't be together.
