Finally÷ it's time to seriously gear up for summer! Let's put last month's crazy weather behind us and think of warm, sunny, fun-filled days ahead. We start with Father's Day and feature Eiger on our cover. Owner, Jeff Noyes and his son Max had a terrific time biking around Equinox Pond. Eiger is a full service bike shop; stop in and see their great selection for enjoying the outdoors this summer.

In addition to Father's Day, graduations and weddings fill the social calendar this month. We've included a gift guide section to offer some suggestions and help with shopping ideas. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to find a suitable gift and Manchester and its neighboring towns offer a unique shopping experience. Our publication is designed to showcase our advertisers in such a way that it gives you the ability to window shop even if you're not in front of the store. Have fun reading through our pages! Don't forget÷ you can always call or visit our advertisers' website for additional information. They would be delighted to help you.

REAL ESTATE AND GOLF NEWS Û

This month we're introducing two new sections. First, we've included a Real Estate section of four local firms featuring prime properties. If you see a property you like, you can easily call or visit their website for additional information. Please refer to page 17.

With golf season here for the next several months, we've included a golf-related page which includes The Practice Tee, Manchester's only driving range. See page 5 and don't forget to bring your clubs!

Last month we listed many upcoming events to look forward to this summer. To refresh your memories, we're offering the exciting list again. Mark your calendars and come to Manchester for these fun events and enjoy our shops!

Included is the Southern Vermont Arts Center's exhibit of "Linda McCartney's Sixties: Portrait of an Era" which runs from June 29th through August 25th. Even before marrying Paul McCartney, Linda was a well-known photographer. Enjoy an era that was a pinnacle in America's history and enjoy the Southern Vermont Arts Center all summer long.

The First Annual Manchester Film Festival will take place from June 27th through 30th. Please visit their website at www.manchesterfilmfestival.com or call 802.362.9960 for more detailed information and for tickets.
