The Village Peddler and Bearatorium in Arlington is having a special event on Sat., June 22nd. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the naming of the "teddy" bear, the Bearatorium is attempting to create the world's longest chain of people linked by teddy bears. The lineup begins at 12:30 and registration, which begins at 10 a.m., is required for this potential Guinness Book of World Records event. There is no charge; just bring a teddy bear and join the chain. The Bearatorium will donate $1 to the Ronald McDonald House for every teddy bear that participates in this event.
