The Ninth Annual Komen Vermont Race For The Cure

A five K run or walk to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and breast cancer outreach programs throughout the state of Vermont - will be held on Sunday, July 29th, at the beautiful Hildene Meadowlands in Manchester, Vermont.

Much more than a race, the Komen Vermont Race For the Cure is a spectacular day-long celebration of life, hope, survival and strength that draws family and friends from across the state and throughout the northeast. Last yearÌs event drew 3,800 participants, 1,000 volunteers, spectators, and among others, Governor Howard Dean.

Colorful banners, great white tents, great music, food, ice cream, even a one-mile steeplechase for the kids, combine to lend an incredibly upbeat, family-perfect, festival-like atmosphere to the annual Komen Vermont Race For the Cure.
