History buffs will enjoy Ethan Allen Days in Sunderland from June 14th through 16th and the Battle of Bennington Reenactment August 17th through 18th. The 23rd annual Southern Vermont Art & Fine Craft Festival will take place at the Hildene Meadowlands August 2nd through 4thÛand premiering this summerÛis the new Vermont Arts & Fine Craft Festival, a ten-day event that will take place at Stratton Mountain. ThereÌs outstanding musical performances planned at Riley Rink in Manchester including A Tribute to Elvis; Peter, Paul, and Mary; and "Alabama." Summer theater at our local playhouses promises a variety of plays including prize-winning dramas, musical revues, comedies, and the perennial Broadway favorite "Oklahoma" which will be held at the Weston Playhouse August 8th through 24th.
Last but not least, Orvis will be unveiling their new flagship store complete with indoor fish ponds and interactive exhibits for the whole family. I hope IÌve tempted you enough to plan a visit.
