For September, the Southern Vermont Arts Center is hosting the John Pizzavelli Trio and a lecture by Wendy Wasserstein. This summer the SVAC hosted many wonderful events and the feedback I’ve received from both locals and visitors is that the event they attended was top quality. Congratulations to the SVAC for a great summer! Don’t forget… the new Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum at SVAC is open six days.
West Wind Fine Art and L.K. Consulting are sponsoring a weekend event called The Manchester Invitational Exhibition. It’s a special event starting on September 8th with a gallery reception at West Wind Fine Art gallery. On September 9th, Richard Schmid will conduct a live painting demonstration of U.S. Senator James Jeffords at the SVAC. Later that evening at the Equinox Hotel, there will be an art show featuring paintings from 36 nationally acclaimed artists—all for sale—followed by a formal Patrons Dinner.
